Dear Parents and Community Members,
Welcome to Elder Grove School District, home of the Outlaws. We are an independent kindergarten through 8th grade district, separate from the Billings and Laurel school districts. Our district spans 64 square miles and stretches from just west of Shiloh and extends almost to Molt. With over 500 students we are the 10th largest independent district in the state of Montana.
Our mission statement is “Outlaw Pride: Generations of Success, Striving for Excellence.” All staff at Elder Grove School takes this mission statement very seriously and makes giving a quality education to all students at Elder Grove our number one goal. We have a great reputation for the quality of our education, and we want to maintain that reputation, continuing to “Strive for Excellence”.
The school day begins at 8:00 AM for all students and ends at 2:15 PM for kindergarten through 2nd grades and 3:01 PM for 3rd through 8th grades.
Safety is another top priority. We have a locked-door policy, and all visitors are asked to go through the main office or middle school office when visiting. Visitors need to ring the buzzer to enter the building. Security cameras are located in all the hallways of the school and are also strategically placed outside throughout our campus. In addition, all Elder Grove buses are equipped with four video cameras with audio capabilities.
